Hole 1

The longest of the par 5s, the starting hole requires three good shots for all but the strongest of players.  From the elevated tee, the ideal shot favors a long lazy fade to a generous landing area.  A strategic focus is wise for the second shot to negotiate the slice bunker and the narrow fairway.  A bump and run or aerial approach are equally effective to a mild punch bowl green.  Look for plenty of birdies to begin the round.
